Nicolas and his US partners founded ACROPOLIS ASSOCIATES in 1999.
Our company started its operations in China in 2005.

The original founders of the company are still active partners today.
We obtained an official license from the Chinese government for the recruitment business.
Nicolas leads and manages the Recruitment Department throughout China and other Asian countries.
Suzy leads and manages the Education Department having over 20 years’ experience in education and training. She has developed a privileged link between Chinese academic partners and business schools and/or universities in Europe.
We also have over 8 years’ experience for visa applications and work permits for foreigners which is managed by our specialised business unit.
The management and its team are Chinese, French and British citizens.
We speak English, French, Greek and Mandarin including Shanghai and Jiangsu dialects.
We are based in China because we believe it is not possible to provide a professional service without a permanent presence and a reliable network in the country.
Suzy has an extensive experience in HR and Education. She was responsible for an international trading company in France for 11 years. On her return to China, she was actively involved in establishing the Management School of Lyon (EM Lyon) as well as promoting, recruiting and coordinating the Alumni Club (EM Lyon China Club).
Suzy holds a French Master’s in the Science of Education and obtained an MBA entitled “France in Shanghai”.
Suzy is fond of fashion, enjoys travelling and is a gourmet of international cuisine.
Suzy is a native Chinese speaker (Mandarin & Shanghai dialect) and is fluent in both English and French.
French born with Greek roots, Nicolas has over 35 years’ experience in international business. As a Senior Executive for the British and American Tobacco Group (BAT), he was responsible for the Middle East and African markets. He then focused his career in the media and communication sector, gaining a broad business experience in China and numerous Asian countries.
Nicolas graduated in International Business Management Studies at the University of Paris IX Dauphine, completed by an International MBA at the International School of Management (Paris and New York).
Nicolas is a permanent resident of Shanghai since 2003. He is a keen art collector, an amateur photographer and is fond of new technology.
Nicolas is a native French speaker. He is fluent in English and Greek with conversational skills in Arabic, Mandarin and Spanish.
Cheryl has been working for Acropolis China since 2011. She over sees administrative tasks and manages work and residence permits for expatriates.
Cheryl has a spartan approach to life. She likes cats and plants, enjoys home decoration and is a keen reader and film enthusiast.
Cheryl is a native Chinese speaker (Mandarin & Jiangsu dialect) and is fluent in English.
She has just started her professional career and has already shown excellent communication skills.

Sibel’s main hobby is the practice of brush lettering and Chinese calligraphy.
Sibel is a native Chinese speaker (Mandarin & Shanghai dialect) and is fluent in both English and French.
